These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the frecaro.com website (the “Website”) operated by UAB Frecaro (“we,” “our,” or “us”), a vehicle transport brokerage registered in Vilnius, Lithuania.
By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Website.
2. About Our Services
UAB Frecaro operates as a vehicle transport brokerage. We connect clients who need vehicle transport services with verified carriers in our network. We do not own, operate, or drive transport vehicles ourselves.
Our role is to facilitate the arrangement of vehicle transport by matching your requirements with suitable carriers, providing quotes based on carrier availability, coordinating logistics and communication between you and the carrier, and offering support throughout the transport process.
The actual transport of your vehicle is performed by independent third-party carriers who are solely responsible for the physical handling and delivery of your vehicle.
3. Quotes and Pricing
Quotes provided through our Website or contact form are estimates only and are not binding offers. Final pricing depends on vehicle specifications and condition, exact pickup and delivery locations, carrier availability at the time of booking, seasonal demand and route conditions, and any additional services requested.
A binding agreement for transport services is only formed when you receive and accept a formal written quote from us and the carrier confirms the booking.
4. No Guarantee of Service
While we make every effort to connect you with reliable, verified carriers, we do not guarantee the availability of carriers for any specific route or timeframe, exact delivery dates or transit times, or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Transit times provided are estimates based on typical conditions and may be affected by weather, traffic, vehicle breakdowns, border controls, or other circumstances beyond our control.
5. Your Responsibilities
When using our Website and services, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about your vehicle and transport requirements, ensure your vehicle is in a condition suitable for transport (operational brakes, no excessive leaks, tires properly inflated), remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before transport (we are not liable for personal items), make the vehicle available for pickup at the agreed time and location, be available (or designate a representative) at the delivery location to receive the vehicle, and inspect the vehicle upon delivery and report any concerns immediately.
6. Insurance and Liability
All carriers in the UAB Frecaro network are required to maintain appropriate insurance coverage as mandated by EU transport regulations. However, UAB Frecaro acts as an intermediary and is not the carrier. Our liability is limited as follows:
We are not liable for any damage to your vehicle during transport. Claims for damage, delay, or loss must be directed to the carrier and their insurance provider. We will assist you in the claims process as part of our service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our brokerage services shall not exceed the brokerage fee paid to UAB Frecaro for the specific shipment in question.
We strongly recommend that you document the condition of your vehicle with photographs before and after transport.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, and software — is the property of UAB Frecaro or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws of Lithuania and the European Union.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this Website without our prior written consent.
8. Website Availability
We aim to keep our Website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Vilnius, Lithuania.
If you are a consumer within the European Union, you also have the right to submit a complaint through the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
